How do I book, and what does a city ride cost?
Install the GuyWay app (sign-up works with a foreign mobile number, so visitors can set it up before landing), enter pickup and destination, confirm the fixed fare and track the driver. A PIN in the app confirms you and the driver at pickup, and you can call or message the driver in the app with numbers masked. Rides can be scheduled days ahead and edited or cancelled in the app. A typical 5 km hop across Georgetown is about GY$2,750 on the City Ride rate card. Pay in the app by Visa, Mastercard, MMG, Apple Pay or Google Pay; no cash for fares.
