Ogle (Eugene F. Correia) International Airport is Georgetown’s second airport, 7–8 km east of the city on the East Coast Highway. It handles domestic flights into Guyana’s interior, regional routes to Suriname and Trinidad, and the popular Kaieteur Falls day tours. For most Georgetown-based travellers, Ogle is the right airport.
Because Ogle is not CJIA, the trip is priced on the City Ride card rather than the Airport Ride card. It is a short in-city fare, fixed in the app before you confirm. The terminal is small and the driver meets you outside it. Add your flight number when you book a pickup: the driver sees your landing time, and if the flight is late, re-timing the pickup is free. The driver’s name, car and plate show in the app, with a pickup PIN so you both know you have the right ride. Early-morning Kaieteur tours work best when booked the evening before so the driver is at your door by 6 am.
