GuyWay is an all-electric ride-hailing service operating in Georgetown, Guyana. Riders book trips through the GuyWay app, drivers are independent partners vetted in person in Georgetown, and every vehicle in the fleet is a 100% electric car. GuyWay accepts card, MMG (Mobile Money Guyana), Apple Pay and Google Pay in the app, with no surge pricing and no haggling. Day-one coverage includes Georgetown city, Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Ogle Airport, University of Guyana, Giftland, Stabroek, Kitty, and the Seawall. GuyWay was founded in 2025 by Peter Lorenzo, Michel Rhéaume, and Rico Ding, who met at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
