We check your driver’s licence, hire-car licence, police clearance and insurer approval. You’ll get a call when you’re approved.
Week 1
Come in for onboarding
Sign your rental and platform agreements, complete the vehicle, safety and insurance induction, and collect your GuyWay EV.

The fares are yours. GuyWay collects them as your payment agent, deducts the published charges and sends you a monthly statement.

No. Every driver rents a GuyWay electric vehicle; personal vehicles are not used on the platform. Ask us about the Ride-to-Own programme when you apply.

Yes. You choose your slot package (days, nights or weekends) and you may decline any trip request, with no target and no consequence. Cancelling a trip you have already accepted is different: the rider was promised a car.

A Guyanese driver’s licence held for two years or more, a hire-car driver’s licence, a police clearance, your TIN and NIS self-employed registration, and bank details for settlement.
