Receipts

Read the emailed receipt after every ride, resend one from the app, and change the email address it goes to.

Do this when you need a receipt for your records, an expense claim or a dispute.

Before you start. Receipts go to the email address on your account. If you never entered one, add it under your profile first. Every completed ride keeps its receipt under Trips in the app as well.

Steps

  1. Open the app and tap Trips.
  2. Tap the ride.
  3. Tap Receipt to read it on screen.
  4. Tap Email receipt to send it again to the address on your account.
  5. To change the address, go to your profile, edit Email, then come back and tap Email receipt.

What happens next

The receipt lists the date and time in Georgetown time, the pickup and drop-off, the distance, the fare at booking, each adjustment on its own line, the promo credit used, the tip, the payment method and the ride reference. The ride reference is the number to quote in any message to support.

The receipt is issued by GuyWay Inc. as the driver's payment agent. It is the only receipt for the ride; the driver does not issue a separate one.

Note Cash tips are not on the receipt.
