Do this when you want a car as soon as one is free.
Before you start. Allow location for GuyWay so the app can set your pickup. You need a payment method in the Wallet, or GuyWay Credit that covers the fare.
Steps
- On the Home tab, tap Where to? and enter the destination, or tap a saved place or a trip under Ride again.
- Check the pickup. It starts at your current location; tap Adjust on map to move it.
- Under Choose a ride, pick GuyWay or GuyWay Executive. Each shows its price, when the car can reach you and when you arrive.
- Tap Leave a note if the driver needs to know something, such as the gate or a landmark.
- Tap Book this ride.
- If Confirm pickup spot opens, drag the map to the exact spot and tap Confirm and book.
The Ride and Executive tiles on the Services tab open the same booking with the class chosen.
Say where you are going
When the Where to? bar shows a microphone, tap it and say the place, for example "Giftland Mall". Add where to pick you up if it is not where you are. You have 30 seconds. The app fills in the trip and you book it as usual; nothing is booked by voice alone.

Tap Fare details under the price to see how it is made up, how long cancelling is free and how long the driver waits.
What happens next
The ride screen shows Finding a car. GuyWay looks for up to about 8 minutes. If drivers nearby are busy, you can keep waiting, or cancel and book for later. While no driver has accepted, you can change the drop-off, add a stop or cancel for free.
When a driver accepts, the screen shows the driver, the car, the plate and the time to the pickup. You get a notification when the car is close and when it arrives.
If something goes wrong
