Do this after every ride. It takes a few seconds and it is the quickest way to tell GuyWay how the ride went.
Before you start. The ride must be completed. The prompt appears when the ride ends and stays on the ride under Trips until you answer it.
Steps
- When the ride ends, the rating screen appears. Tap a star from 1 to 5.
- For 4 stars or fewer, pick a reason from the list, for example the route, the driving or the car. Up to three.
- If the problem was the price or the GuyWay app rather than the driver, pick one of those two reasons. They stay on the screen at every star, including 5, and picking one on its own means the rating does not count against the driver at all.
- Add a short comment if you want to.
- Tap Submit.
What happens next
The rating is recorded on the ride and on the driver's record. The driver sees an average, never your name next to a score. A low rating with a reason opens a review that a person at GuyWay reads. No score suspends anybody by itself: a number can start a conversation and only a person can end one.
Drivers rate riders the same way after each ride. A rider's rating is read by operations and is never shown to a driver before they accept a ride. Your own rating is under Account: the average of your recent rated rides, with the lowest one dropped, and once you have ten of them the stars and the reasons behind it are there too.
Note A rating is not a dispute. For a fare or a fee, see Report a problem or dispute a fare.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| I skipped the rating | The prompt was dismissed | Open the ride under Trips and tap Rate |
| I want to change my rating | Ratings are final once submitted | Write to support@guyway.gy with the ride reference and what you want to say |
| I gave 1 star by mistake | The rating is recorded | Tell support. Check with GuyWay operations for how long a rating can be corrected |
| I want to praise the driver by name | Comments go to operations | Add the comment; it reaches the driver's record |
