Your slots and the season pick

How you pick a line of slots for the season, the rest rule, and the day-before question.

A slot is a block of hours during which you hold a GuyWay car. Slots come in lines: a line is the same hours on set days of the week, for a whole season. You pick one line per season in the app. Rent is due for each slot under the Vehicle Rental Agreement, whether or not you take rides during it. Which rides you take is your decision.

Where you find it

Open the Account tab and tap Your slots. The screen shows Your line, Your next slots, the season and The rules. Before you have a line, Choose your hours lists the groups with how many lines are still open. Home shows your slot clock: when the next slot starts, or how long the current one has left.

Midday10:008

Night18:008

A line can carry its own times; the screen shows them. Inside a group, choose the week that suits you and tap pick. The screen confirms: "That line is yours for the season."

Who picks first

Drivers pick in bands, shown on the screen as "You are in band A", B or C. Band A picks first; each band after it opens 24 hours later.

BandRating over your recent rated trips
A4.7 or more
B4.3 or more
CBelow 4.3

With fewer than 20 rated trips you are in band B. Attendance at your slots can move you one band: 95 percent or more lifts B to A, below 70 percent holds A back to B. How picking works on the screen gives your own reason.

If every line is taken, the screen says so; ask the desk about the extra board.
