Recurring rides

Turn a trip you take every week into a recurring ride, then pause it, skip a date or end it from the app.

Updated
28 September 2026

Do this for a trip you take on the same days at the same time, such as a commute or a school run.

Before you start. You need a card or a wallet on file as your default payment method. Each ride is charged when it ends, like any other ride.

Steps

  1. After you book a ride, or on a trip under Trips, tap Make it recurring.
  2. Pick the days of the week.
  3. Set the pickup time. Times are Georgetown time.
  4. Tap Save.

What happens next

Each ride in the schedule is booked a few days ahead and appears under Upcoming, like a ride you scheduled yourself. A driver is found shortly before each pickup. Open Recurring rides from the menu to see your schedules and the next dates.

You can switch a schedule off with its switch to pause it, and back on to resume it. Tap a date to skip only that day. Tap End to stop the schedule for good. A ride due within the hour is not changed by a pause or a skip; cancel it from the ride itself, where the normal cancellation rule applies.

Note A schedule runs for up to 90 days. Set it up again when it ends. You can keep five at a time.
