Driver app help

If your number changes or your SIM is lost

Why GuyWay changes a driver's number rather than the app, what to bring to the hub, and what happens to your earnings while you cannot sign in.

You sign in with the mobile number on your driver record. If that SIM is lost, stolen, swapped to another network or dead, you cannot sign in until the number on your record is changed.

Nothing of yours is lost while you are locked out

Your earnings are built from the rides you completed, not from your phone. Your monthly Statement is still produced and still paid. Your documents, your slot and your car are all on your driver record. The only thing that stops is the app.

If a ride is running when your phone goes, telephone operations on +592 655-7775 straight away so the desk can see it through.

Why you cannot change it in the app yourself

The number on your driver record is not only how you sign in. It is what dispatch rings when something is wrong with a job, and where the notice about your Statement goes. Changing it is a money matter as much as a sign-in one, so GuyWay makes the change rather than the app.

It is also the easiest thing in the world to prove, because we know you. Two minutes at the hub is a better check than any question a computer can ask.

What to do

  1. Bring your driving licence to the GuyWay hub at 2874 Greenfield, Providence, with your new number.
  2. The desk checks your licence number and one of your recent rides against your record.
  3. The number is changed while you wait, and you sign in on the new number.

If you cannot get to the hub today, call +592 655-7775. The desk can do the same checks on the telephone.
