- App booking. Pickup, destination, fare, confirm. Book now, schedule a ride days ahead and edit or cancel it in the app, or book for someone else from your own account.
- Driver name, car and plate in the app as soon as a driver accepts, with a pickup PIN so you both know you have the right person.
- Live tracking. Follow the car to your pickup, share the trip live with someone at home, and get an alert if the car goes off route.

What to expect on your first ride

- A driver accepts. Their name, car and plate appear with a pickup PIN. Watch the car on the map, and call or message the driver from the app if the pickup spot needs explaining; both numbers stay masked.
- Check the plate and the PIN, then get in. During the ride you can share the trip live, and the SOS button reaches our team.
- At the drop-off the fare is charged to your saved method, the receipt lands in your inbox, and you can rate the driver and add a tip in the app for up to 30 days.
Cancelling is free within 2 minutes of the driver accepting and GYD 300 after that; a no-show is GYD 500 if you are not at the pickup 5 minutes after the driver arrives and do not answer. Does GuyWay have surge pricing?
No. The fare comes from the rate card, not from demand, so it is the same at night, in the rain and during events. City Ride is GY$2,000 for the first 3 km, then GY$375 per km; a 5 km hop across town is about GY$2,750. The number you see before you confirm is the number you pay unless you add a stop, change the destination, keep the driver waiting, or a toll or bridge fee applies.
Can I schedule a ride ahead, like Uber Reserve?
Yes. Schedule the ride in the app days ahead and edit or cancel it there if plans change. For an airport pickup, add the flight number: the driver tracks the flight, re-timing for a late landing is free, and the driver meets you at the CJIA terminal entrance, the only one, with their name, car and plate in the app.
