The checkup helps your driver recognise you and helps GuyWay give your account back if you lose your phone. None of the items is needed to ride.
Before you start. Open the Account tab. The Complete your account card shows how many items are left. Tap Continue checkup.
Profile photo
- Tap Profile photo.
- Take a photo, or choose one, and save it.
Your driver sees it at the pickup. You can also tap your picture on the Account tab.
Confirm your email
- Tap Verify your email.
- Check the address under Your email and tap Send code.
- Type the six-digit code from the email.
The code lasts 15 minutes. An email that matches your Apple, Google or Facebook sign-in counts as confirmed.
Verify your ID
- Tap the ID item, then Verify your ID.
- Under Which document, choose Passport, Guyana ID card or Driver's licence.
- Tap Take a photo, or Choose from my photos. Fit the document in the frame, with no glare.
- Tap Use this photo.

The result also arrives in Inbox. Drivers see your first name and photo, never your ID. The Privacy Notice says what is kept and for how long.
