The Pegasus Hotel was built on Seawall Road in 1969 by the British airline BOAC, with its circular tower, and Guyanese owner Robert Badal bought it in 2009. It has 199 rooms and suites. Its newer neighbour on the same grounds, the former Pegasus Suites, became the Atlantic Suites Hotel under a Hyatt affiliation in August 2026. The rooftop Aura Sky Lounge looks over the point where the Demerara River meets the Atlantic.
Two buildings, one driveway area
Tell the driver which building you want. The original Pegasus tower and the Atlantic Suites tower at Pegasus Corporate Centre share the site on Seawall Road, and the corporate centre also houses offices, including Digicel's. Name the building when you set the pin and the driver stops at its front entrance.

The seafront is about 42 km from CJIA, about GYD 21,000. Allow 45 to 55 minutes off-peak and more after 4 pm on weekdays. Ogle Airport is about 10 km east, about GYD 4,600, for Kaieteur and interior flights.
Neighbours on the Kingston seafront
The hotel faces the US and Canadian missions and the police headquarters. The Umana Yana, the thatched benab built by Wai-Wai craftsmen, is next door on High Street, and the seawall bandstand is a short walk east. The Marriott is about 500 metres away; Stabroek Market is about 2.3 km, about GYD 2,000.
