Georgetown's conference calendar is dominated by sector events: the annual Guyana Energy Conference at the Marriott, regional CARICOM meetings, investment summits, medical and legal CPD sessions at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre in Liliendaal. All share the same transport problem: hundreds of delegates, hotels spread across Kingston, Main Street and the East Coast, a venue in a fourth location, and tight gaps between sessions. Is there a minimum booking size for a conference?
No. A single delegate books in the app at the normal rate card, about GY$4,650 for a 10 km hotel-to-venue run on the City Ride rate card, fixed before they confirm. A block of delegate movements is quoted on request via partners@guyway.gy or WhatsApp (+592 655-7775). The per-ride fare does not change with volume, so the quote covers timing and coverage while each ride stays on the rate card.
Lead time for a 200-delegate conference?
As early as you have the programme. Send the dates, hotels, venue and session times to partners@guyway.gy; we confirm what we can cover on each window and how to spread the pickups so nobody is left at a hotel entrance while the session opens.
Consolidated billing with a cost centre per session?
Yes. Each ride carries a cost centre and a project code, so sessions, sponsors or delegations can be split on the monthly statement, and the statement exports as CSV for your finance team. Each trip also produces its own emailed receipt.
