Oil & gas transport in Guyana

Guyana's oil and gas sector is the reason most executive travel into Georgetown exists. ExxonMobil Guyana, headquartered since 2025 in the Kanuku building at Ogle on the East Coast Demerara, its Stabroek Block partners Chevron and CNOOC, SBM Offshore (which runs the FPSOs), and the service companies around them all keep offices in and around the city and rotate contractors through the country on offshore rotations.
