Linden to Georgetown is the northbound leg of Guyana's busiest inland corridor: 115 km on the Soesdyke–Linden Highway, onto the East Bank Highway at Soesdyke, then through Diamond and Providence into the city, or a turn-off at Timehri for CJIA. Allow 1h 45m to 2h 10m. Bauxite and logging trucks slow the highway on weekday mornings; weekends and evenings are clearer. GuyWay does not serve this corridor yet. Our all-electric Tesla fleet runs in Georgetown, along the East Bank to CJIA, the East Coast, Parika and the Bartica road, and Linden is not yet on the map.

What exists today: the Linden–Georgetown minibus route from the Mackenzie and Wismar sides of the river, and hire cars arranged by phone from the Linden taxi stands. If you travel this road regularly (family in Linden, contractor rotations, weekenders heading home on Sunday evening), message us on WhatsApp at +592 655-7775 and we will tell you when the corridor opens. See Georgetown to Linden for the southbound leg.

Ready when you are.

This corridor is not open yet. Georgetown, the airport and the coast are: get the app for those, and message us to hear when this one opens.

Frequently asked

Can I book a GuyWay from Linden to Georgetown today?

Not yet. GuyWay runs in Georgetown, on the East Bank to CJIA, the East Coast, Parika and toward Bartica. Linden is not served. Message +592 655-7775 on WhatsApp and we will let you know when it opens.

How long is the drive from Linden to Georgetown?

About 115 km. Allow 1h 45m to 2h 10m: the Soesdyke–Linden Highway is fast and mostly straight, then traffic builds from Soesdyke through Diamond and Providence into the city. Weekday mornings are slowest because of truck traffic.

Linden to CJIA: is that shorter?

Yes. From Linden you leave the highway at Soesdyke and reach the airport turn-off at Timehri after roughly 100 km, without going into Georgetown. GuyWay does not run this leg yet either; the minibus and Linden hire cars are the options today.
